Think.Educate.Motivate is a program designed to empower and support members by providing expert education sessions on a range of health and fitness topics.

Today we’re bombarded with so many do’s and don’ts, getting the right health and fitness advice can be difficult. It’s confusing! 
We want our members to get the most of our facility and the reach individual health and fitness goals, therefore we’ve launched Think.Educate.Motivate.


Although we personally like to think we know everything! It’s impossible! Therefore we’ve engaged passionate expert health and fitness professionals from varying fields to provide you with specific information. The interactive classes are conducted in a group environment, with face to face sessions; right here in the gym. There is no extra charge on your membership. Some of our sporting professionals charge in excess of $200 p/h, so this is great way to increase your knowledge and help you; help yourself.

HOW DO THE SESSIONS WORK?

Each month will host a new health and fitness topic such as; back to basics in movement and technique, injury prevention, nutrition advice, muscle isolation techniques and many more. All sessions are presented by a heath or fitness guru who will give you the ‘What, Where and Why’s’ followed by a hands on, practical session. This will be held over 1 x 45 min workshops, monthly.

The sessions are free for all members at Think 24hr Fitness as it’s included in all memberships.

All members are encouraged to bring one friend to a workshop for free.

SEPTEMBER TOPIC: CARBOHYDRATES

WORKSHOP OVERVIEW:

Carbohydrates are the most talked about fuel. I regularly get asked are carbs right for everybody? What do carbs do for different people? Is carb intake related to your genes? How can I maximise my performance using carbs? This session will answer these burning questions and more.

HERE'S WHY:

Carbohydrates are just one player in a big game of fuel your body needs. Everyone is constantly talking about carbs but generally there is a lot of misinformation about what a carb is, how much you need, when you need it and how it should be consumed. Getting this right will streamline you body composition results, you’ll never consider a carb free diet again!

OCTOBER TOPIC: Fats

WORKSHOP OVERVIEW:

Are all fats equal? What’s the deal with saturated fats and their health/lack of health benefits? Can fats increase your training?
These are just a few of the questions that will be covered when Dr Cameron presents all you need to know about fats. This is an excellent opportunity for you to ask the questions and learn how you can make positive changes for your body today.

DECEMBER TOPIC: DISGESTION & HEALTH

WORKSHOP OVERVIEW:

What you're going to learn in the workshop: - Key steps for everyone on improving their gut health - More specific steps to improve your gut health for different groups of people with different digestive systems - Foods that really help with your digestive power - How your digestion affects your brain, and how your thinking affects your digestion - The steps you can take to getting your whole system back on track.

HERE'S WHY:

What happens in your guts does not stay in your guts. Whether you're getting bloating, cramping, gas production or enjoy perfect movements, the place where a lot of good things occur is in your digestive tract.

Poor gut function can indicate stress, poor nutrition, inadequate exercise or even mental and emotional troubles. Eating the right foods for your stomach and intestines will make a huge difference to your energy levels from the word go.
